Paint Your Own Pottery Pick-up Policy
All pottery (including, but not limited to items made in class) will be held at the studio for a maximum of 60 days after the customer has been contacted to come pick up their finished peice. After 60 days, we are not responsible for broken/discarded pottery. Please make arrangements to pick up pottery as soon as possible. This policy is strictly enforced given our available space for holding finished items.
Refunds and Returns Policy
Classes, lessons, and birthday parties-
We offer a full refund of the deposit paid for classes, lessons, and birthday parties if the appointment is canceled 48 hours in advanced from the start of your booking time. You must pay the remaining portion of the class/party the day of the appointment.
Custom mugs, bowls, plates, etc..-
Custom hand made pottery is non-refundable.
Retail items - shirts, stickers, etc.. -
Refundable within 30 days of purchase, but only in exchange for store credit.
Pre-made ceramics -
Potter & Clay Studios, LLC is not responsible for the mishandling of ceramics or pottery after they have been purchased by the customer and brought outside the studio, nor is Potter & Clay Studios responsible for pottery broken or deformed in the firing process.
Class Policy
- Classes will be held for 1 hour
- Please call in advance if you cannot make it or will be coming late
- Please be respectful of your booking time. If we are not notified that you will be late, we will assume you are not coming and leave after 5 min of waiting
- Extra clay will cost an additional $5
- Parents are expected to accompany children
- Clay has a chance of cracking or breaking in the drying/firing process.
PYOP Policy
- We advise our customers not to paint on the bottom of their pottery. This causes the glaze to melt to our kiln shelves. If a customer paints the bottom of their piece, we try our best to remove the glaze before firing to save the piece from sticking to the shelf and potentially breaking when removed.
- Please be careful handling premade ceramics. If you break something, we expect you to pay the listed price of the item.
